Description
The DCS (Dynamic Combat System) is a lightweight, low profile system which is rugged, yet ergonomically designed to provide exceptional comfort and functionality, without compromising protection, and is suitable for SF requirements, Maritime Operations and PSD Role.
The DCS can hold large size Stand Alone plates in Front and Back pockets, and has the ability to carry either “6 x 6" or “6 x 8" side plates. NEXUS N.I.J. Level 3a Front and Back Soft Armour can also be used independently without plates, or can be upgraded using I.C.W. plates if the threat requires it. If additional protection is required, Soft Armour can be inserted in the sides of the carrier, to protect against small arms and fragmentation.
The shoulders are fully adjustable and have an Emergency Release on one side, which frees the left hand side shoulder section and allows the operator to remove the Carrier without having to remove his helmet. The Side sections of the DCS are fully adjustable for size and can be adjusted in under 15 seconds. 3D Spacer Mesh lining is used for comfort and allows body heat to move away from the bodies surface while assisting in air flow to provide cooling.
The DCS DA 5.56mm (Direct Action) comes as standard with 5 x Open bungee Magazine pouches for 5.56mm Mags, and 2 x Small Utility / Medic Pouches
