Choosing the Right Gun Holster

The right holster depends on your role, your carry position and the firearm you are running. A belt holster sits at the hip and offers a natural, fast draw for everyday and range use, making it the most common choice for police, security and recreational shooters. A thigh holster or leg gun holster drops the pistol lower on the leg, which suits operators wearing body armour or plate carriers where a hip-mounted holster would be obstructed. Mid-ride and pancake holster designs offer a middle ground, sitting closer to the body for a cleaner profile without the full drop of a leg rig.

A leg rig combines a holster with an integrated thigh platform and securing straps, distributing the weight of a pistol and magazine pouches across the leg rather than the belt. Our tactical leg rigs are compatible with standard pistols and sidearms, with MOLLE-compatible surfaces for attaching additional pouches and accessories.
