Nexus Soft Armour is manufactured in the United Kingdom and utilises innovative new technologies designed to enhance the strength of the aramid base yarn providing superior ballistic performance and trauma attenuation. The technology we use reduces the need to extensively stitch the individual fabric layers together which results in good levels of flexibility and a lower thickness of approximately 8mm.

The armour protective materials are heat sealed inside a protective cover for additional water repellence and protection against sunlight increasing the lifespan of the product.

Shrapnel Protection

Our armour offers a high level of fragmentation protection with a V50 rating greater than 570 m/s in accordance with Stanag 2920 NATO Standards using 1.1g Fragment Simulating Projectiles (FSP).
