Pentagon - S2 19 Red Multi LED

Red light is a low signature light which ensures stealth in the darkness, it is also a necessity for specialists who wish to preserve night vision when reading maps, charts, check, lists etc. A normal light with a red filter creates a narrowly focused hot spot which can effect night vision and project excessive red light into the distance, thus compromising stealth. The advantage of the S2 Red light is in its light diffusion, which provides a wide area of red light with excellent close range light intensity. The S2 light is generated by 19 individual LED’s which send out a smooth and even coverage. The S2’s main advantage is its efficiency and lower power consumption resulting in a longer run time. The S2 is manufactured from Aerospace grade aluminium using precision CNC machines, and comes standard with anti reflective, anti corrosive and anti abrasive type III hard anodised finish. A waterproof twist for constant On / Off operation, and a push button in the tail cap for momentary On / Off are incorporated as standard. Alternative light sources can easily be interchanged by replacing the head unit with one of the many diverse conversion heads that are available. All connections are sealed with double O rings for extra protection against water leakage. The 1 inch diamond knurl area of the body can accommodate weapon mounts for securing the S2 to a rifle barrel, and a remote pressure pad switch can be added for one handed operation.
