This model has 20 brightness settings, but also offers a night vision toggle switch that turns sight on to the infra-red brightness settings need for use with III and IV generation night vision. Uses N batteries (included). EOTech sights leave no muzzle side signature (can not be seen even with III gen night vision from the front). Batteries last approximately 200 hours.
